The idea
Tarannà was born in answer to a recurring request over the years: companies and individuals wanted to hold their events at the Palau Martorell, but capacity limits and the conservation needs of the artworks made it impossible.
To meet that need, a multifunctional space was created a few metres from the Palau. Day to day it lives as a café-bookshop; booked exclusively, it becomes an intimate, versatile venue for events tied to the cultural world of the Palau Martorell.

A bright, high-ceilinged ground floor opening onto Plaça de la Mercè through three glazed doors | wide enough even for display vehicles.
