Visiting an exhibition at Palau Martorell is always a good call. The lighting lets you truly enjoy the works — it's perfect. A beautifully maintained building. Congratulations!

What a great place for exhibitions. I visited the Steve McCurry photography show and was struck by the spaces and the route they create. The exhibition is impressive, like all his work. If it's still on and you're in the city, don't hesitate to visit.

Special mention to Graciela's attentiveness and knowledge — she explained the history of the Palau and the exhibition perfectly, with a solid grounding in history and art. The kindness of the staff — Graciela, Ana and Raúl, who watches the door — was exquisite. The Steve McCurry exhibition was fascinating. I recommend a visit to Palau Martorell, and this exhibition, to anyone interested in photography, humanity, ethnic groups, geography, history, cultural diversity, portraiture… Personally, I'm grateful, because it was «a journey» through many subjects close to me, for 2.5 hours. P.S.: I missed the Botero show — I hope they bring it back!

Today we came as a family to the Sorolla exhibition to see the paintings of this great artist. The space, though a little small, is lovely to walk through, and if you like painting exhibitions it's a must when you're in Barcelona. We recommend it 100% — and buying your ticket in advance is the way to be sure you get in.

Palau Martorell never fails to delight me, whatever the exhibition. I loved the Botero one, and today the Sorolla and Manuel Vicent show was a joy too. Thank you!!!

I went this morning to see the Sorolla exhibition with Manuel Vicent and came out fascinated. Not only for the beauty of the show, which is genuinely special, but also for the palace itself, a neoclassical marvel. I want to highlight how kind the staff are: from the entrance and the ticket desk to the galleries, you can tell they work as one, and it makes the visit even more enjoyable.

The Sorolla exhibition, splendid (with Sorolla, you can't go wrong). A beautiful palace. The staff were excellent — attentive and helpful, from reception through to the woman running the shop. Special mention for Graciela, the guide who talked us through the exhibition: very professional, warm, and genuinely knowledgeable about the painter. Everything went wonderfully. Thanks to all of them.

I've been to almost every exhibition they've put on since they opened. The place is very good, exactly the right size — neither too small nor an endless run of rooms. It has kept a great skylight above the lower gallery, a very stately wrought-iron staircase and its original windows upstairs, along with the most ornate room. It's a space with natural light, which gives you another way of seeing the works on show. The lower gallery often holds a second exhibition alongside the main one, just as interesting. This time I came for the Botero exhibition: it's fascinating, highly recommended, not to be missed. It shows part of his travelling work and, on this occasion, some pieces that aren't usually exhibited. There's a video on how his sculptures are made, several rooms on different themes, works in black and white, his famous small-format sculptures, and a very appealing visual staging. I'd recommend buying tickets in advance — it gets busy — and trying to come at off-peak times, not at weekends.
